2.4L Racing Merc shut down problems

Hello everyone. I have a 2.4L BP. Still fairly new to me. I'm having trouble with the engine shutting down completely at times. I had already replaced two injectors which were bad. Also replaced the two switch boxes, the trigger, one coil, new spark plug wires and plugs. Checked the fuel pressure on the fuel rail and had 39psi. I was running real good the other day. Did a couple runs about 10min long a piece full throttle ran good. Sat for a while, started up, took off ran for about 2min then just completely died. This happens often. When it does die I have to wait about 5min before it will start back up. When It starts back up sounds at first like its starving for fuel then runs good. Got me back in at least. Fuel pump does make a little bit of noise but still has 39psi. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Ingintion switch,or kill wire could be a problem.Take a spare plug with you,when it dies take a plug wire off,plug it on your spare plug and see if you've got spark.Seems like some of the older ECMs would lose a driver and shut down.

Thanks. I will try that if it happens again. Went out yesterday and It didn't die on me. The only things I've done different was relocate the fuel return line so it wasn't returning right over the suction tube and replaced the rectifier.
