Stocked up on the last of the Mercury 300xs motors

I just got 6 new 300's in today. Four new 300xs and two 300R's. I still have a few more coming. I decided to buy some of the last 300xs motors to try and keep the prices down on some new Liberators. I can put either motor on them till I run out.

Do you prefer the wooden pallets or the metal? Don’t you have to shop the metal ones back as a core?

I think my my credit card would be declined if I chose to stock up on motors lol

The wood ones are easier to deal with and don't take up as much room. There is a $400 or $500 deposit on the metal ones. All eight motors were a little over $150k.

Yeah, I have two new 21's, a new 22, and a new 25 to do. I just finished a new 22 Liberator today with a 300R. I'm also doing a complete restoration on my 21 Superboat center console. I'll do new paint, interior, Sea Dek floor, new 300xs, and fill in every hole in the boat and put in a Garmin and other stuff. I'll change every wire and screw in the boat.

Randy, will you be stocking any more Checkmates? Your 21's and 24's were stunning! I think the new 300R on a 21' Pulsare would be amazing!

I bought a new 300xs at the very end of June from my local dealer. They told me Merc sent them an email discounting the last few remaining 300xs'. Guess there stock pile was a little bigger than what I thought!!

I will order Checkmates but no longer stock them. Everytime I call about ordering one, it's like 6 months out!

I have a 300xs with a whole 10hrs on it.. :/

I was strongly considering selling it and getting a 300R - Now I'm leaning to a E-Tec H.O. after what I was told about the torque number.

But I'll most most likely keep the 300xs.. maybe
