Please confirm this says what I think it says - block engine stamp

    I believe this on a V6 block would indicate a 135 hp - maybe a 2.0 lt??

I've never seen "AA", but I don't mess with 135s either. Does it have a serial number?

Serial comes as xr-6 MagIII, but parts list show 2.0 pistons. Something don't add up. Does it have a 4 1/4 or 4 3/4 lower unit?

"Something don't add up" I intend to buy this PH which is offered as a 2.5lt 150hp, to complete a spare fishing motor - I started poking around on SN # and saw the 2.0 lt piston info also - got seller to send me block stamping letters (photo above) - I do not want a 2.0lt engine nor a 135 hp so trying to confirm what this is.
Lower diameter - easily swapped so I don't want to depend on that for ID.

I bought a 150 a few years ago. Thought for sure it was a 2.5. I was wrong, turned out to be a 2.0. LakeFever is right. Only way to be sure is pull head.

My 1995 135 2.0 has the AA stamp on block also...i always thought or was told that it was a 2.5 block with 2.0 sleeves and pistons.
Daddy taught me to never force anything but to just get a bigger hammer.

I've seen the AA stamped as both a 150 2.5 and a 150 2.0 (Fat Block)... pretty much have to yank a head to know for sure...
