See yah one, raise you one.
While in Fla I bought a non runner for $50.
50 cc two Stroke.
Pulled the carb to ck the reeds and found s chunk of injector hose sticking a reed open.
Pulled that out and it started first pull!
We were Port Saint Lucie at the time and me and the Mrs road that thing to the local pubs.
Funniest part was flipping off tail gaters on my ass while I'm doing 45 in a 25 zone.
Found why after buffing the faded speedo bezel and realizing it was in KMH!
I was only doing 25 when flipping them.
Had HUGE fun on that thing.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

loads of china 50 cc scooters on craigslist, problem is they wont go fast enough .the 150 gy6 claims 12 hp .i've seen 56 on gps running stock except for the $9. replacement ecu which has no rev limiter, still i wont ride on main roads as i don't want to get run over.I"ll just ride the vfr for that.
last summer i built a taotao 150 for my brother inlaw he got for free to use as a pit bike when he races ARHMA.needed a battery, carb, stator ,coil,& some tlc to get it going, about $100 spent for all parts thru amazon.it gets used hard & seems to hold up ok.Last edited by gary slagle; 09-23-2018 at 10:13 AM.

I am watching and going to buy a classic bike when I get a head of some bills.
I like the muscle bikes of the early-mid '80's.
Honda CB 1100f, Suzi GS 1100e, Yammi Fj 1100's.
Could buy any of them for $2500 up to a few yrs ago.
Theyre now double that and climbing.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

I got besides the big bikes, a restored CT 70, CH 150 scoot, a Spree, and 2 golf karts to cruise our private HOA. All a blast! Like Honda Grom though!

Needs to be stock, for value/appreciation and my preference.
While in Fla I had a 90' 1000 Hurricane and a 95' GPZ 1100. Both had pipes, and neither were jetted for them and were pigs accordingly.
My old RZ 350 would have destroyed both.
But they were loud, for you that like thatI'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I guess, that one seems well worth the admission.
As does this one

I subscribe to a British magazine that focuses on classics and sent them this story.
They spelled my first name wrong but I'm famous in Great Britain
They give s lot lot of ink to two strokes which no one else does.
They also give recommendations of up and coming collector bikes.
They cover a lot of small bikes too.
Great magazine!
Their tech stories are killer. One guy has built a H-2 750 two Stroke based four and five cylinder and just finished a 6 cylinder Honda as a tribute to their '60's era 250cc Grand Prix bike.
The guy welded two cases together and made his own crank.Last edited by Instigator; 09-24-2018 at 06:46 AM.
