I purchaced 1 of the power heads, received with scored cylinder on #5, broken ring at exhaust port, broken reed cage, o-ring on injector #5 torn up, frozen alternator. Oddly enough brand new spark plugs. States he ran at 117 mph and ran perfect for him, no longer answer calls. Just be ware, hope this helps someone else who is planning on purchasing other powerhead.

    Yes it is!

I agree, I never buy from this site again. I was willing to pay for low hour unmalested block. He thinks I ran it it, I did have it a month but was awaiting for him to send studs he removed from block. I ordered rings, bearings, new injectors, plus alternator. Once I got studs started to tear down to rebuild found it was misrepresented called to verify he had other to exchange, he offered to pay for exentually pay for renic of cylinder and rest was on me. I did not want to go thru potential renic issues plus in the end having him not pay up. Bottom line it was sold as a 10 one season run powerhead in perfect shape. I’m trying legal matters now so we will see.

    Yes

I purchased a 28 skater race boat with nice untouched powerheads, owner wasn’t sure of hour’s so planned to have one rebuilds so I can do others one a a time, know there good to run hard and have a known to spare in the end, plan was to have two spares. Did that with my previous DCB and never missed a beat all season. Nice to come home after work and go for a ride to unwind. Now I’m going to get 300r’s I guess.

I chatted with “Hulk” a few times about a boat ... whatever ... don’t waste your time and consider it a learning experience

Let us know how the 300R’s run on that 28 !!!

Don't blame this site for the bad deal. I have bought all kinds of parts including a couple powerheads (thanks Sunkist) that came exactly as described or better. Mike
