New to me mercury

Hey guys new here. Wondering if y'all can help me out, just picked up a mercury Blackmax xr2 150hp with what appears to be serial number B232506. No matter what I Google I cannot find that number. That number is on my plate and also the plug on top of the motor. I've stripped the stuff off of the motor to rid myself of the oil injection so I can just premix so I just want to make sure I order the right part. Not sure how many liters it is. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thx

The xr2 is a 2.0 liter motor. The oil pump block offs are the same for the 2.0, 2.4, and 2.5 motors and are available thru Pro Marine.. Welcome to the site.

Make sure you get all the "black boxes" and reset the timing as well! There are several threads on here detailing the process.

Hey guys Im new..just joined the other day. But Ive been taking advantage of all great info for about a year...so THANK YOU!

I have a 1984 Super Champ with a 1984 150hp BlackMax. Im having trouble identifying exactly what I have in the motor. The serial number on the bracket tag is 6552719. The number on the welsh plug is A139440.

Whats my next move to identify what im dealing with? Thanks in advance for any help.
