The flatter you can get it to run the faster it runs.

What's your normal rider configuration. I like the cleaver (32 pitch) when it's just me. But I like a little more bow lift when I have some one else up front. All depends on what your doing. We cruise the at about 50 to 60 and a cleaver slips like crazy at that speed. North of 80 and solo up front i like the cleaver but that doesn't happen often.

Thinking about purchasing a 30 blade cleaver it makes the boat ride flattered I'm assuming that's a good thing as far as safety goes I like to do 95 Plus in mind but knowing that flatter I'm assuming would be safer the blow over Factor doesn't sound like fun Love My Mirage it's just getting expensive buying and trying all these different props wife is not getting happy about that one oh well been happy with my 24 blade signature going to try the 3 blade 28 signature this weekend

I’ve been looking to pick up a spare prop. I like the ay the boat runs with the 30p cleaver as I like to cruise, I don’t do any racing. However, it’s the only prop that I’ve ever run.
My question for the guys with experience, is there another style prop that would net similar performance? Or would I only want to run cleaver props?
Say if I found a 4 blade 28p, would it perform like a 3 blade 30p?
I would just like to have a decent back up prop.
Prop: 14.5 x 30p 3 blade cleaver
Boat: Mirage Ski Racer

Prop: 14.5 x 30p 3 blade cleaver
Boat: Mirage Ski. I am not an expert but my opinion if you like the 30 blade Cleaver and you want to try to 4 blade prop go with the 28 pitch 4 blade semi Cleaver prop four blade props have more boat control ride a lot nicer but you're going to lose a few miles an hour on the top end part I bought a 28 pitch 4 blade signature eagle and it worked great on my boat

Mine does not like the 28 signature much, but loves the 28 3 blade merc et looking for a 30 et as im only getting 93mph with the 28et at 6800rpm stock 225 promax. My 32 cleaver is harder to drive but too much pitch and can only get to 90mph.Anyone want to trade a 30et for the 32 cleaver?
I may be slow but im ahead of you. *hit's only ankle deep but you went in head first.

I have been running a performer bc4 15x30 4 blade and I tried a 3 blade 14.5x30 cleaver today and the cleaver is 5 mph slower takes twice the time to plane and to get to top speed. But I am in an eliminator 20' scorpion tunnel with a Mercury 250 feel free to call if you have questions 918.382.8907 Randy
