I would never own a jet boat,but they sure are fun to take a rip in one that is set up proper.My buddy Dave has a Sanger that he runs in one of the modified classes.He has 2 motors for the boat,the monster twin carb stroker and this single carb 502ci for running the river all season which is no slouch.The 0 to 60 plus is ridiculous...almost as ridiculous as the money he has invested in the pump alone ! Oh snap ! I was reading something on FB about Finnegan and his bad azz jet boat and he took his father to a race cause he had become sick and wanted to see him race before he passed...Look at me being all serious and chit.

I didn't know who it was, just caught it on YT. Love "blower surge". and looks like trying to tame it. Hard to do as goes leans and revs up, then rich and back to lean. ME? Same here ! My dad had me sailing a sunfish at 8,in an 8ft Hydro at 11.....and the list goes from there.My mother and father used to street race on weekends : )

Dad was a gearhead, cars as boats. I was the youngest of 3 sibs. Bro (10 years older) had a Baby Switzer 20H when I was just a kid. Got to take it out at maybe 8 years old. Then my dad bought a Amphicar when I was 14. GREAT fun to "spash", and when mom had to drive it back home W/E 50 miles house after lake house. She could do "3 on the tree" but never got the 4 on the floor. Dad said. Let the kid tell ya what to do when he says "Clutch" Heres one fuzzy pic my bro in the Swit! Could add more but don't want to hijack the thread...( and my MOM was a gearhead too!)
