1998 225 Promax
Looking at buying a 1998 225 Promax. It has a 16 amp charging system. He said he's going to have Jeff Dunn replace all pistons with Wizard top pin .020...also the heads have been shaved slightly. Compression is 150. I'd like any info as far as reliability, hp/performance and any other input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Motor is going on Allison Grand Sport.

Great motor and you cant go wrong with Jeff Dunn doing the work. Thats a very desirable motor. If the computer has the rev limiter raised then even better
