So 3.0 never made it through its gestation period and it has been sitting since my last (13th??) attempt at coming to terms with it.

I've had some down time in my shop and am sick of walking past the thing and it still looking stock so it comes down and becomes something different.

Going to go old school styling this time. I already have a lightweight glass Second Effort cowling but need a set of clean lower pans if anyone has a spare set.

Going to cut the mid down to 16" and screw on my Second Effort Hi Perf gear case and the 12 pack intake and carbs.
Ordered an exhaust snout today.

The good is, the block and case are already full of epoxy and thats a PIA to do.

Havent decided between string steer or side ram hydraulic. I already have the tilt pin for the latter.

Motor will come first and hull will come later on.

So the good is, I think I figured out the linkage for the 12 pack.

As stock carbs,one bank opens while the other closes.

I successfully reversed the throttle shafts/linkage and springs on the port bank to open w/the starboard bank.
Wasnt sure it would work but looks like it will.

Gary I have done a few this way feel free to call if you need any help. Linkage is not to bad and dont need to mod the carbs.

Thx for the offer Al.

As is, the port bank of carbs has linkage mounts inboard and against starboard set.
By reversing throttle shafts on port, this corrects this.

Is the 12 pack you have 6 two bbl crossflow carbs? Thats the front end I have on my old loop...linkage ain't bad but I hate not being able to get to the inside high speed jets easily...
