RARE boat. If Harold Bateman were still alive he would disagree with you. He had one back in the day that would stroll with a stock In line 6. He sold that boat to another racer who put a Twister 1 on it and it ran pretty strong. I saw it race with both set ups. Harold was one of the people who did well racing the other Allison tunnel....the pickle fork one with the wings on it. Won the SJ National title with it in Miami beating out Doug Pearl.

I bought my newest STV from Travis Bateman, Harolds nephew I believe. There were pictures of the winged tunnel on his garage wall. The boat I believe is the one that's been sitting in my cousins shop, half rigged with a T2X since he was killed in a boating accident. The same boat we believe was driven by Robin Lamkin, Harolds daughter when she was young. Her husband Wally,as you all know, owns Triad which in my opinion has built some of the finest boats in our sport.
