    Pa. accident

I got some sad new yesterday. Jeff Krowchak, bought my T4 in 2016, died as a result in loose control at high speed in the boat, and died. Guys, please safe out there, we as a fast boating community don't need to loose any of our friends.

Not too far from my home and when I had my STV use to run that part of the river. On a busy day the water would get very rough.

    Prayers to all...

Only bringing this up as a reminder to be safe out there. Boat is at local marina and widow after 2 years wants to sell everything... so I maybe going along giving advise on what's for sale. Locals stated he hit a huge boat wake. Looks like never did get PA registration as numbers are same as sale listed here.
Say a prayer for us all.

    Boat commission report

A 57-year-old male is deceased as a result of being ejected from the 18ft race boat he was operating.
The victim was operating his 300hp race boat and went to overtake another vessel when his vessel hit a
wake and became airborne. The victim was wearing a lifejacket at the time of the accident and was
ejected from the vessel. Passengers of the other vessel and other individuals quickly came to provide
assistance. The victim was pulled onto a pontoon boat and CPR was preformed immediately until
emergency personnel arrived. The victim was never responsive or breathing after the accident. The
victim was an experienced boat operator but had not taken a formal boating safety education course.

Don’t remember seeing those pixs before.

Another warning from this is the importance of the new owner transferring title to his name.

Mike (msg) called me when this happened and said he found out about the wreck when the police banged on his door!
Boat was still in his name.
Meaning legally......, you could be in deep dooh!

I quizzed our local title/DMV office on this and they agreed.

If that boat had damaged another one in the accident, they could come after name on title for liability!

So true, whenever you sell a vehicle or vessel......on YOUR copy of the bill of sale, have them sign it and include their drivers license number. That'll at least get any lawsuits away from you.
    Stay safe everyone!
