My buddy in the far lane. Same guy I restored the other car for. This one is a Hemi clone though. I could probably get it from him, but would want a street motor in it. I'd have to trim the herd though!!!

This weekends project was to cut up a pair of perfectly good grilles and head light bezels to make the correct "superstock/Hemi" grille

Yep! Byron, US 30, Oswego (where first drag raced my Triumph 650 at 16, took home the trophy in modified as had no chain guard, and did 15.99 at 99.9 mph! And of course "Broadway Bobs" Union grove Wis. Great times!

Got a story ferya! My 10 year older brother, now south me in NorCal (now 78, and STILL races Vintage!) Well I was just a kid when he bought a new first year vette. Of course had to race it, and that whats got ME started! But decades later he tracked it down and found out it was a frame up restore, and sitting in a showroom Chevy dealer in Seattle! Well, he was up here racing and stopped in there and got a hold owner. Showed him some original paperwork Don had kept, and the guy was FLOORED! Another piece the puzzle solved! Some pix..
