Bob Ackerbloom has been around, building boats, or anything else he can pop out of fiberglass, since the early 70's building big-block jetboats, Stallion 21's, Carazza 21's, Mod VP copies, fishboats, flats boats, you name it, he's copied it. He has always been in the Orlando/Sanford area. He built the Gambler Stallion 21 & so on, under The MariTech Industries name and twenty other corporation names over the decades & dissolved them. For the record, this boat in this photo, is titled as a 1982 Rally Sport... Ackerbloom used a mold that belonged to him, or someone else black then, and built a few of them.

My father Gary Junker was the owner of Rally Sport, then changed the name to Custom Line Boats back in the early 70’s and 80’s. I remember those boats POS! We had one with a 300 Mercury on it and it was a turd. Cool looking though.

Thanks Shawn. Yes, Rally Sport was from 1971 to 1978 on Recker Highway. Is your dad still with us? Your brother Rich worked at, and then bought & owned Kinsey Propellers right? (Now called Leading Edge Propellers} Bought many of them back in the day. Excellent props. Got our best performance from them. I remember Bob Ackerbloom involvement somehow with your dad. There was a lot of mold swapping & name changing going on back in those days. Too many to keep track of.

Well that model was called a Dude. Fun boat, I grew up with a few of those. They ran pretty good, most of the boats my Dad made were over built and heavy, so they last a long time. Also a pretty good ski boat.

Shawn, I have a 1987 Rally Sport 21. You confirm my thoughts that it is overbuilt as it is in great shape. Any info you can provide on this would be greatly appreciated.
