    1250 wanted

Like the title says, I would like to locate a good 1250. Mine is toast on cylinder number 3. I don't mind at all having to work on one to make it water worthy as long as I don't have to go internal. A motor that needs rewired or car work or anything like that is fine. I just need six holes with good compression. Thank you for your time.

    Hello, Jeff.
I have a 1250 BP motor head (and a few other parts) I am selling. I just started looking to see what people put up for sale and saw you are looking for a 1250. It seems to be a 1250BP Tower of Power from the late 60's. It has even compression on all six cylinders. There are pictures on a thread here called "Noobie here w/ 1250BP -- need lower unit" under the General Boating Discussion board. I know your thread is older but thought I would send you a message just in case you were still looking. The quick story is the boat was parked back around 1990 and sat ever since. The lower unit was busted so I'm pretty sure what is why is was parked. Let me know. Hope you are doing well otherwise.
    ~Brian
