Found this project boat in pretty good shape but I've always had Mercs..... is this outboard very good .... I'm not looking to set any speed records just want a family boat..... any input is appreciated. Thanks

simple basic two stroke...easy to troubleshoot...easy to repair...cheap to buy and cheap to work on...smokey and hard on gas...so, everything new tech dfi and four strokes a not...
good old motors for knock around boats..

I don't owe Chris anything at all ...his only complaint is that I didn't send the parts fast enough and that the box it was in looked like the parts "could" have been damaged but was not.......and like I posted here ill take care of Rock as soon as he replys to my many messages I'm sure he is a busy guy but I seen he posted on here yesterday so I'm sure he will get back to me soon .....looks like you have an opinion on everything else so what do ya think about the OMC v6 in the pic?....if your just here to bad mouth me that's ok I'm a grown up I can take it....have a wonderful day
