200XS ROS break in
Does anyone know the break in procedure for a 200XS? The fun version, ROS, not the fishing motor.

I would guess it's all limited by the ECU, run it like you stole it!

The break in rules are on a sticker on the cover - I had not seen my motor when I first posted the question. First hour, 4000-5400 rpm, vary speed every 2 minutes. Next 4 hours, same rpm, vary speed every 10 minutes. No more than 5 minutes idling, which stops me from hitting the lake south of us - huge lake, but a 10 minute idle zone in between. My brother might come visit and then we could tow it to bigger lakes.

Follow it to the T. Fresh gas and good oil makes a ROS happy I'm sure.

I just got a message from a friend with one. He is running his 200XS on an STV and having trouble loading the engine enough to get it to register as break in. Interesting.

With a 15" mid I can't bury it that far, but I will go down as far as possible and use my biggest prop
