    How's your spark? Is the timer advancing to full timing when you accelerate? What are the compression numbers? Check for broken or loose magnets under the flywheel? Check the WOT timing?

    did you try pumping the primer ball and see if there's a difference? What do the plugs look like? any of the fouled? Try hitting the choke when problem occurs?

    Check the choke lever been a few over time with it stuck or set to that one position.

    Look for broken plastic links. Had a yammy with a broken advance lever end piece.

    thank you so much for responding flavin I have never been on a forum before thought no one was responding found you in my e mail guess I look there for responses red lever down plugs are lean but have not been able to get on plane to run boat to get true plug reading all I did this last time was reeds and bob’s Bigfoot low water pick up thanks again for responding I’m learning this forum thing I can barley work my smart phone (technology ignorant I am)

    Forgot I also replaced cap and lever on primer w/ red lever it’s new primer bulb is no different put new one on. I help jimmy at Smyrna marine so I always put new stuff on my boat can’t break down on the big bass tour (BBT)

    HaulNdumbass figures out my fuel problem was tiny amount of moisture in fuel still haven’t lake tested still trying to unlock my dynometer going to run it on there first want to test some jets thanks for all the input. Melonie is coming over tonight to show me how a forum work I have tried to post 3 100 word posts and somehow erased them all. Have about 500 service manuals 1950ish to 2015ish 3hp-300hp merc/mercruser,omc/cobra Yamaha,all major brands just got to post some pics getting stuff out of my way. Thanks everyone! Will post when she learns me this forum thing.
