The standard from factory settings what you change are
engine height ( less lower unit drag more rpm: drawback if in rough water a lot you can lift out)
mor bow or stern lift ( no draw back but you can fiddle with it forever trying to get that perfect 3-5 degree angle on the final lift surface)
actually getting on the last strake, on pad, or other surface. ( drawback some hulls even though it’s there can get squirrely: my tv18 is one of the few that will lift about 50 it gets spooky in a breeze )
hole shot ( really personal choice here some will ride bow up for a bit for a few mph up top: more prop searching and $$ finding that perfect hole shot vs top end. )
Stick with that prop till you red line after adjusting the other stuff. More or less to see if pitch is good. You could already be on the wall.
