2.4 Bridgeport powerhead
2.4 liter Bridgeport power head with compleatly rebuilt wh46s.
Power head lost one cylinder all other cylinders 125 psi. Was running great over the weekend. Has 7 petal front on it. Have new Carter fuel pump also well need a regulator though. Motor still runs and still on boat. May pull the one head to see what happened. I only bought the motor a few months ago from a member on here who said it only had 5 hours on it since rebuild I ran it a couple hours with wh20s then my mechanic gave me a set of completely rebuilt wh46s and I ran it for maybe 3 or 4 more hours.
$1100 plus shipping.

Yes I know it's weird to have a 7 petal front and for it to be painted. I was told when I bought it that it was a Bridgeport. I well know for sure when I pull the head.

I dont remember but I had the wh20s checked by my mechanic before I ran it. I'm also selling the wh20s.

I'm either pulling the head tonight or tomorrow to see what happened and if it really is a bridgeport.

Look in your photo of the powerhead. The ADAPTORPLATE is between the block and the mid section. The nut holding the block on gos thru 2 pieces of adaptors. That is a "2" piece. And the original powerhead had a popit valve on the bottom of thr block under the switch . Its part of a 2 piece cooling system

I think I understand the piece you mean. The original powerhead was a 220 mariner.
