sorry for the background mess, its gonna go down to 5* F tonite here in NJ, so I have to do all of the work in my garage
I didn't like the way the block was on an angle as the hoist was pulling up on the block, so I put a jack under the engine stand to lift and thus keep the bolts straight with the hoist
the block came off like butter, just like the way the flywheel came off....like butter

Best way too remove pistons is with front half off one at a time. Please keep rod bolts and cap to its specific connecting rod. Buy some zip lock bag to keep rod bearings and cage together label with sharpie for that cylinder.
There is really no need to measure cylinder bore at this point unless you plan to buy all new pistons and go size above what you have. If you just want repair #4 The machine shop will give you their recommendations once honing work is done.
Just looking at #4 you might get away with honing.
