the following measurements are overages to the standard size bore 3.625 inches in diameter

I used a dial bore gauge to make these measurements prior to sending them out to Fuller's Marine

    how_to

each cylinder has 2 measures that says "top" measurements for each cylinder. These were measured 90* apart. Same as the "bottom" measurements

it would have been better if I drew the measurements below in 3-D, but you can figure it out

Because Cyl 4 had a cooked piston, George Fuller of Fuller's Marine bored and honed all 6 cylinders to 0.015 measure to fit the 0.015 rebuild kit

as you can see from the measurements of cylinder #4, I just barely made it to the 0.015 rebuild kit. sure glad the previous owner didn't force the extended running of the failed motor

btw, George Fuller did a marvelous job with the block as well as my air injectors cleaning, posts to follow

there are only a handful of very good machinists around the country, Fuller's Marine is one of them. we have to support them so that we can continue with our 2-stroke boating passion

Noli, it looks like there is a typo in the service manual. "14" and "15" on the lower unit in the circle should be labeled "15" and "16"
