I have not weighed my boat since the rebuild process began. It was less than 1500# with the motor, one battery and steering... so I am adding an Aux tank, multiple pumps and other specific mods which will contribute to the boat's balance/integrity.

I did once when it was the 7 hr enduro but that's another story. I would love to compete again. Maybe someday.

Tell Mike that's a cool looking boat.

Break in went well, 4hrs. So far very happy. Feels strong.
Heading back out this weekend to test below Parker on the lower Colorado river, props, jets and possibly moving weight around. Also need to clean up and fix a few things. Tach, speedo, kill switch. Just ran out of time trying to get the fishin mota running and hrs put on it. Plus the Rampage was left at the river.

This was a previous 2L winner. Had a great setup

If you haven't been to this race it's fun to watch, especially with the shorter course but running in it is a blast.
We will be running this 20 Baker Rampage for the first time. My 18.6 Baker that I've ran in the previous races was showingClick image for larger version.

I have decided to not run this year. I simply have too many things to have finished on the boat and would not bring a not sorted out boat across the USA for a race where something missed could not only affect my safety but others as well.

That being said... I have two rooms at the Blue Water Casino on the Cantina side available if someone needs them. I have paid the deposit that they will not refund. LMK.

Hopefully I can get her running and together for the Suwannee event the following week.

I understand the effort it takes to put a safe and competitive boat togather and your voyage across the states would have made for some cool stories.

We started this project early this year Click image for larger version.

For sure. The Rampage tends to slide/drift more when navigating the curves of the river, demanding more trim control. At the river right now and testing tomorrow. Trying to find the magic prop.
