That motor is going to make good , reliable power ...
Ol Duff don't look a day over 90 in that picture ..
He brought me a set of chambers off of a 1972 H2 750 Kawasaki he bought, to fix a couple tabs and cracks. I kinda looked at him, he said .. It does better wheelies than my Triumph ..... Kids today

THANKS!!!
I got a few inches of water a week AFTER the Hurricane from all the backflow of water. It has set me back several weeks and I am scrounging to get everything done for the event. At this point I have ALL the parts needed either in stock or on order... just praying I have enough time to get everything together and drive across country to the event.

I seen this pop up on FB yesterday and started reading about it. Sure would be nice if there were a circuit of races like this throughout the year that I could run my "Contraption" in.
Reading through the official rules it looks as if I can run it in class V, given the length of my boat doesn't measure over 24.99".
That's a lot of driving from Florida for a one day event but I think after over 2000 miles of operation in the old Warlock without any mechanical failures, I would have a pretty good chance at a good finish in a race like this.
Unlimited Single Engine V-Drive Boats – GPS REQUIREDDIVISION V:
1. ENGINE:Unrestricted
2. HULL: “Flat”, “V”, “MOD-V”, or TUNNEL. (Min. length 16” Max length 24.99’)
3. WEIGHT: Unrestricted.

Last year Rick Connolly bought then rigged a 2.0lt on his new to him Allison SS. He had basically under an hour seat time ever in his life driving an Allison let alone racing it at Parker!! haha He finished the race and got a crash course on balancing an Allison during the race. I was super impressed buy the fact he had the wear with all to actually follow threw with it. He may have cut off one or two but just the fact he was there and trying his best most let it go as they relisted its no easy feat driving an Allison in side slop!! haha Havent heard if hes racing again this year but now with seat time he could do alot better. but just finishing is half the battle I hear?

I am thrashing just to get there... but YES, just finishing the event is WINNING!!!
There are so many GN boats showing up this year that it is going to be a Slop-Fest for us lighter boats. The GPS Speeds are limited to 110 mph, so I am hoping they will waive the bull$hit rule of running the motor at 1" BELOW the pad for my class.
It seems like a lotta crap that on one hand they can allow a group to run unrestricted yet tell the outboard guys where and how we have to run our program when the entire race is speed limited. They might as well just say "Run-Whatcha-Brung" and see where the cards fall at the end. That would be a REAL RACE!

So you can run any motor now I know for years you can only run a 2 L SST 120 motor

Yes, you just have different weight requirements depending upon motor. For the Div-6 class with a 3.0L, my race weight is 1875#. My boat without me in it, with the motor is #1500 minus a few things... so I am reinforcing the tunnels, adding an additional Aux fuel system and a few other items to make race weight.
If you run a 2.0L motor, you can skinny it down to 1400#

Yes and no...lol.. They won't let War Canoe or Darcey on the track with their DBR X motors, a few years ago I was ready to fly with a 2l champ set up that ran very very nice even with a fuel load, that was when the lord of blade flingers was basically writing the "rules" right up to the start of the race. BUT a Nordic with a 1350 can. So yeah.
If I could find a beater Mod-Vp STV to bolt a 2 liter on... maybe.
