    What is this motor?

    What is it? Is it a mid 80's Force 125? What about the lower unit and mid section. They look like old high performance stuff.

    Youre exactly right. Its a Chrysler 140 Race engine. Vintage 1977/1979. Only in production 2 years.

    Early 70s leg and lower 73+ rear cover with 78-84 140 if the scribble on the ex cover is correct. Lower cowl removed and flush cut block off plate. Later Force clamps
    HStream1, you have any inside info on this one?

    I would think so, Baker ran 84+ with the one piece powerflow not race lower and a tuned 135, on a Viper

    No I dont but the 140 was only in production for two years. late 77 early 78/79 in its first generation. The second extended out to 84. Serial number would tell the story.

    H is Hartford, B is Barrie production. Only difference in those years is sticker colour and Charger option. Have seen highring pistons in the earlier 78-81 maybe later. Top compression was 165 78-84 all models. No difference in carb or porting , all same 476 stamping block , 3.375 x 2.876 , 103ci. Electronic distributor with belt

    I remember seeing them run back in the day when stacked. They sounded impressive for sure. But never saw one outrun a Mercury . OMC yes

    Stacker were small bore short stroke 96ci rated 150 195 psi. Last year 1976. No stacker 103 ci 140 with 165psi. Those numbers are model, t is twin , S dual steering, p same all 20". Just book checking, all regular powerflow lowers, no race found yet.
