I have been out of it for a few years now,but 300+ would not surprise me one bit.In 2014 when i went from F5S and made team USA F5D pylon racing,i was 2nd fastest in the world at 248mph in the 6 cell class.

It was addicting flying wicked fast pylons and giant scale aerobatic planes....also VERY expensive......Side note,FINALLY a thread around here that i fully understand : )

The F5S sutups are run with Outrunner motors that spin around 27,000 rpm on large folding props.In the F5D pylon we mainly run inrunner motors with small solid props at close to 40,000rpm on 5 cell packs.One day for chits and giggles i put in a 6 cell pack in my pylon plane to run it on the edge of meltdown at over 50,000 rpm.The sound was INSANE and echoed for miles.https://youtu.be/QU3HWS6XE64
