John, The dates coinside with the Florida Vintage Raceboat Club event at Tavares in Tavares FL on November 16-18. Rich is putting the details together to be annunced soon. There may be an elective event on the 15th - TBD.

John, The Florida Vintage Raceboat Club has received confirmation that our permit to use Wooten Park for our Nove 16-19 event has been approved. That makes it safe to say that the V&H event will be held on those dates. You will have to check with Rich Luhrs concerning the elective joint OFF & FVRC event is confirmed. Last I knew, Rich was setting this up for Nov. 15th.

The CRA is no longer an APBA Club and is being or is disbanded. The Florida Vintage Raceboat Club is a new APBA Club that will continue to host the Vintage & Historic events at Wooten Park in Tavares FL. The FVRC will host the V&H event Nov. 16-18 and will continue to support the March and November dates into 2019 and beyond. The FVRC website is under sonstruction and the address will be www.FVRC.club when it is completed.

Thanks for the update Rodger, is Bill John still involved? I guess the hurricane disrupted the whole region more than most realized. will be looking foreward to checking in on the website and glad it will be APBA affiliated, Keith out

Site remains dormant for most of the year, but it would be good to hear something of what’s going on in the restoration world !
Not a lot happening with the Cosworth or old blue——— although the latter has got pride of place at the “WILSON CUSTOM COMPOSITES “ office.

The FVRC info is available on their Facebook page, and the website is under construction. When complete, the website will be: (www.FVRC.club) - .club is a new URL extension

Just got my “TICKET TO RIDE” ——- maybe I can pick up the newsletter in Tavares——- bound to be a few old farts turn up who haven’t yet taken time out to join the club that would like one.
Me myself couldn’t really see any sense in me joining the florida vintage club——- live across the pond—— and the only thing vintage is me——— What is it, vintage is fifty years or more———- I forget whether it’s a hundred, or seventy five years before it becomes veteran!
