    Merc I6 - 2 into 1 Exhaust Stack

Hoping someone can give me some history and explain some details about this Merc inline-6 exhaust system. I bought a "display" motor that was assembled for a museum in Rome NY. Was from Dave Packer's items. The exhaust is just "sitting" in the covers as pictured below.
Who made these exhausts? Mercury Racing?
How was the exhaust interfaced to the block? Fillerblock & manifold?

Would like to see if I can fab items to make this functional again. Thanks for any help with this!!!
    Regards, Roger

I have it in my notes this was a Checkmate Tunnel. I found another picture showing Mike Downard racing a single stack C6 at Parker in 71. Maybe Mike or Gordon Downard could shed some light

I was told there was a thread or post on S&F that showed the internals of this exhaust system. I don't know what to search on - can anyone help locating this?

If you can get hold of a Twister 1 exhaust internal plate you should be able to work something out

Someone posted a few pics of the cover with pipe, where did they go, wrong thread?
What's the fire order on that inline , divided two triples by the looks of the cover?
