Gaffrig Twin Engine Controls - Some Assembly Required

These left-hand, STTS configuration Gaffrig controls were in my 30 Spectre when I bought it last summer. Copper was showing through on the base, so I had the base re-chromed along with the shifter end caps. The chrome job is beautiful, but the shop did not listen to me when I told them to do only the tops. They chromed all the base pieces entirely which caused tolerance issues. Basically, every contact point needs to have the extra chrome sanded off and the screw holes will need to be tapped as well. I had too many projects already, so I bought a new shifter. But, if someone is willing to spend the time, they will have a nearly new shifter. Two brand new trim switches and 4 new rubber boots are included. The chrome job was $250 and the new parts were $80.
