    Evinrude wasted his time & money since the beginning to the end. Not just the last decade as some will say. For only a couple of years in the early 20's he made stern-steerer ice boats in Wisconsin. They did not sell...

    ...The Evinrude Stream-Flow all aluminum bicycle, that they made for only five years, from 1935 until almost 1940, because it did not sell. The reason being, it cost four times the price of any other bike on the market at the time & no one could afford to buy them. This did not help them, once again.

    Most of the Evinrude aluminum frame bicycles had joint weld issues as well, and many were returned to the bike dealers for repairs. This affected sales as well.

    This is another Evinrude design, that went to prototype, that fizzed out. It was designed by Brooks & displayed at his four southern California dealerships, to no avail.

    ...How did all the OMC companies, motors, boats, etc., hit the skids at the exact same time? Surely one of them should have survived, yes? But they didn't.
