I'm not familiar with that technology

    In post #15, i said
"in 2019 I'd like to re-core the bottom, then go boating again before the summer is over"

The core that I was refering to is foam core

I want to add a core on the hull bottom where there is no core currently

And where there is old core, I'd like to remove the old core replace with new core...foam core

So, inorder for the core to be homogeneous, i have to make sure the core at the trailing edge of the transom is the same type of core that I will use on coring the rest of the hull bottom

I can't re-core The hull bottom transom bedding once the transom is glassed on so I have to glass that foam coring now

additional cleanup of the transom. cleaning along the angled area of the transom. found additional pure resin layups. There are no more pure resin left in the boat...all gone. Bye bye

Noli are you trying to modify the design by adding foam that was never there? Thats not gonna help any why not just put out and buy more of those expensive Coosa Boards? You're not helping the hull any . . . .

not modifying the design, just reinforcing the hull bottom which has no core. Eventually the foam core will spread across the rest of the hull bottom. when that happens, I'm already guaranteed that the transom area has foam because I put it there

coosa will be used on the transom

Where can I get the foam you're talking about Noli. That I can use polyester resin, not for boat use. Making a shaped part for a speaker.
