    Max 5's on 400r's

Running twin 400's on 29' cat, trying the Max 5's but seems sluggish to roll over on plane. All the plugs are out and was wonder if drilling them out would help on a 5 blade? Was also wondering if the expensive CNC props will plane out better then the Max 5's.

I ran a 28 max5 on a single 400r/23' cat. No issues planing off, worlds better than all the bravo1's I tried. Fastest speed, Lowest slip, best fuel economy of any prop I ran, up to 30% better mpg's.

On the shorter Boats I swear by using a tab. You can run any prop you want get on plane lift the tab and the boat is super happy everywhere.
