All 2.5's are behind the liner. The old 2.4's were piston port engines. The behind the liner beats it haves down. The FF block is just a late model 200 2.5. For some weird reason they've reached legend status in the last couple years with people saying they're the same as a 225 Promax and I've even seen people compare them to a 260. It's a good, solid 200. Never will be a 260 or even a 225 Promax in my opinion

James perry seems think different also along with another handful I've talked to ,, it actually is same porting as promax, except exhaust port, but I was just curious bout it being behind liner motor, and what the difference was with that , but if all 2.5 are then it answered my question I rekon.

They can be made into a PM very easily or a 260 easily with some chest work, and dealing with front half restrictions.

Yeah James perry has it right now ,thanks to bullet 123. Great great guy deal with by the way. If anyone needs sum parts or sumthin. I gonna run 4 pedal and wh22 or 46s. Not sure which would b better. I understand 46s came on most BP carb motors
