What do I have? Sleekcraft Race HIN

Decided I wanted to get into boating so I bought two projects last week. The Sleekcraft is light as a feather, its so thin on the sides I can see through it with a flashlight. Is it special?

    Looks like Kim Howard's colors

They made some 400 lb boats you should weigh it.

Two people picked it up off the trailer with no problem so I would say its 400 or less.

I wouldn't know what its worth. I plan on restoring it but if the right offer came along I would let it go.

The last ones Kim had were the modified transom w/large setback. This one could be one of his earlier boats. He loved to hand it high.

It looks like some home made crap has been added to support the transom. Its going to be put back like it was when new. Click image for larger version.

    Wow overkill !

We strapped to the stringer , but our stringers went to the bottom of the motor well on our factory race boats ...

My title from my 1985 400 lb boat ID SLES1180M85A

nothing about race I had a 1984 600 lb also bought through Bruce Nescher the owner,

    SUPER NICE guy.

Sold his race boats at cost $4,000 both times dealer never got involved, SSTs liked to fly high

Didn't Kim blow over then get run over , I remember bad nerve damage in arm , it withered .
