I have a 250hp power head what does it fit
I have a1996 250 3.0 powerhead what years will it fit I see 3.0s changing after 1998 does anyone know the difference?

1 big diff. was they got away from the stubby l/u driveshafts,,i think 97 up all have same bolt patterns and mid/exh. plates,something about the pre 96 was different,just cant remember what

Believe it's the number of splines on the driveshaft changed from 8 to 13

so different lower unit? or are we talking flywheel

spline was only one year and I believe it was around 94-95

follow up question so will it bolt on to any other 3.0 mid just I would need a driveshaft that will fit ?
