Read my post I ran regular bravos with diffusers and I now run the Bravo for outboards without the diffusers and with vent holes. The Regular Bravos worked so well I bought the outboard versions. I can not stress enough this was on my boat. Every boat is different. I did not want to spend $5000 per prop x 3 for my boat for the Mercury CNC five blades. The Bravos come out of the hole real hard and the midrange is outstanding and slip ratio is low on my boat. I know more top end is there on the Merc CNC props but I am happy with the set up now.

I read it perfectly, oc with flares cut off? There is no flare to cut off on out of the box oc. Perhaps I should have read it's as "a oc ran like a regular bravo", instead of absorbing every word..
I was just wondering if the flare was something else then another word for diffuser.
I think he needs to try them out as like you said, they all run different on different hills and set ups.

You are too literal. I realize the OC prop does not come with diffusers (flares). I was making a point for people who do know the difference.
For further information, I have also tried BBlade Blasters and two different sets of Hering props on the boat. Believe it or not the Bravos OC were the best all around prop for me.

My brother Paul at Horizon Motorsports Lake Havasu has a 2015 25 liberator w 2 300xs sportmasters . Runs 34 new bravos . Seams to jump out of the hole with full load and accelerate well. I know he did 110
