No hoses at bottom of heads

VERY CLOSE TO MOD 3 ENGINE BUILD will keep you posted

I have a 1994 Boston Whaler Rage with a turbojet 115 I was going to move the hoses from the top of the heads but I dont have hoses going to the bottom of the heads what I have is 2 larger hoses going from the thermostat housing into the bottom of the heads did you change the hoses from the stat housing?

This shows water off the top of the heads leading out to pee vents , the water exhaust jacket should have a tapped hole and plug , just like all outboards with this engine,, run this outlet to cool exhaust stream ,that's important,, check your water pressure at wot, s/b 20 psi , the problem im yet to overcome is water pressure at idle , or lack off , going to try a boost pump of a sort , will put that on soon , hoping to supply even 5 psi at idle would be great , also not happy with omc water supply check valve in stator , its a ****ty setup , prone to blockup to easy and starves the block of water , we need to fix this if we want reliabily , any ideas,,,,!cheers

The adapter plates hold water in these things and crack..they do not self drain and need a shot of anti freeze to winterize. They were a semi solid unit otherwise.

ID:	511386from the left to right ,#1, this $2 elbow has cost me thousands to finally realise its the whole problem of water supply , #2. location of elbow #3.. 3/4"bsp straight hose barb fitted into water gallery to filter,, the idea is , any debris that make it past the blow off valve will not get caught until the filter, were it can do no harm . #4 engine bay layout , big red hose not that pretty but works a treat , now at idle there's a steady 2-3psi to the motor ,then when Thermos opens, pee tails are still strong , same at wot , no change in water volume, im hopping there would be another owner prepared to try this because it feels like a eureka moment , I still love this boat , blown a lot of fuel through this thing and stil get the grin when you go past outboards where props fear to go , oh yeah motor mod with piston ports gives a great zinggy power band between 4800- 5700 rpm,,, over 13,000 views on this project and many more hours of fun ,many thanks to all, Regards Jimmybar
