I wonder if the difference in the R (Racing model) and the standard engine is higher RPM and no warranty?

Specs sheet will tell the numbers we are most interested in. We know the prices will be very high. They need to get the cowling dept off the dope they are on and get them back on track desiging some good looking cowlings. They may be great motors but look hideous.

Mercury Racing site had the existing 250XS and 300XS on until about 8:30. Now they are both gone. Probably have the 250R and 300R on there soon so we can see the specs, lower ratio's etc.

They are going to work on anything that an X or XS works on and they are going to be better. Basically the same weight, 6400 rpm, lots of torque (40% more then an XS down low so big wheels surface), more power, etc. The only downside is the gear being a 1.75 but the correction for that is coming soon. These are going to be the best motor ever seen so far for something weighing in the 500 lb range. Should know shortly when we will be able to get them for the DW28
