    I would like to have your old motor, I can rebuild it. It would be nice on the back of my Sleekcraft SST20. I'm in Nashville also.

    After talking to James Perry we think it's just a minor issue!! Brad did most of what James mentioned yesterday so we are heading to the river right now to see how it does.. wish us luck and if everything goes good we will be looking for a lower unit!

    Yes it did. Motor turned 5900 rpm with 25 tempest on 21ft bumblebee, it's still not getting full throttle and needs full link and sync, and black boxes removed. I will provide that for them and see how it goes from there. Surprisingly boat took right off with it missing cavitation plate

    My fear with missing the cav plate is the fact it will be missing one of the bolts that holds lower on to mid

    When we send the injectors off we are going to take the lower unit off and have a cav plate welded on. We have a friend that has welded several cav plates on for people and then we will actually start looking for a new lower

    I've been in touch with a guy in Louisiana that has a coned lower with low water pick ups for few hundred bucks. Probably needs rebuild but can get that done and have a good one for under 1k
