    Help 2001 triton tr21 250 setup

    Hello everyone,
I'm new to the group. I have always came here to read forums and look for advice.

Anyway I have a 2001 Triton TR 21 with a 2018 250 proxs with the torquemaster g2, 6in pro hi jacker HP Jackplate. I'm having some trouble getting the motor hight and prop set up correctly. Here is what I have tried and numbers.

25 trophy plus worked by Steve's custom props 74@5950 3.25 below pad full load 2 people.

26 trophy plus stock 74@5900 3.25 below pad full load 2 people

27 tempest plus 75.9@5700 2.5 below pad empty.
27 tempest plus 65.8@5200 2.5 below pad full load 2 people.

Does anyone have any insight on where to run my motor and what prop to put on it? Will mostly be tournament fishing. I know this boat is capable of upper 70s full and low 80s by myself I just can't figure it out.

    Thanks, Chris

Trophy usually pretty hard to beat with tournament load, normally can run them around 2 inch below pad though? Of coarse depends on how it is worked. The fury three blade also a fast cookie, runs a little nose high, and will lose a little speed with two people. I found the fury also accelerated quicker than the trophy which I liked because when running in rivers and places with lots of turns it would out perform the trophy. Lots of guys claimed the tempest was the fastest, but apparently they where always lighter than me or something, because I never could get mine to run with tournament load with one. Bravo runs the same no matter the weight, but usually a couple mph slower than the trophy and fury. Always wanted to try a pro max prop, think it would work good also and maybe ran a little higher and flatter.

Thanks for your reply forbesauto. I have never been able to run a tempest, even with my 225 efi I had a month ago. I couldn't run a fury with my efi either.

Gary Singleton is my boss, he won the triton owners tournament twice in the last 5 years, he is running a 250 etech ho with a 27 fury at 81, has hydraulic jack plate so don't know his pad placement, but same boat, it was loaded with 2 guys
