    Trim hoses

Looking to get trim hoses made from my offshore into the boat. I messaged a few people on here and I understand they must be busy or don't get on. It's been a few weeks and I'd really like to get things buttoned up. Local shops can't seem to find the right fittings to use, so, where can I go online to get some hoses made for me?

    Thanks guys

Dude- welcome to my world. I've been living this nightmare for almost 3 weeks. Just got my 411 figured out within the last hour thanks to a forum member. The hose guy in NY may be good at what he does but his customer svc sucks and the prices are sky high. Send me a pm with your phone # and I'll share what I've learned.

just look up any hydraulics repair firm or hose specialist, stay away from marine and you will get set up straight away and cheaper.

I went to two hydraulic places in town and neither of them could find fittings for the ram side.

There’s a guy on here who goes by the screen name “hoser” that might be able to assist. He’s got a good rep, as I have read/heard. Perhaps he can help you.

    I do this regularly!
I use #4 JIC hose fittings with an inverted flare small adapter.
There are 2 small adapters you need to make things work!I get some in chrome plated brass or unplated.
Found unplated was working better. Also can use the Aroequip black hose or S/S braded.
Yes, this stuff is NOT cheap and if you can reach Hoser on here he can help you with all needed parts.
Hope this help you get an idea on what you need to do.

Weird that your hydraulics shop couldn’t get it done, I walked in, told them the length I needed and walked out 25 minutes or so later with brand new hoses with the correct fittings two hoses from pump to ram, up and down for 38.00 iirc.

Trust me- NOT weird. I couldn't find anything in Daytona, Orlando, or Jacksonville.

I had to engineer my own from pieces parts...
