21 liberator bow lift issue
Okay so I have a 21 liberator with a 300xs 12” bobs jack plate and I’m having an isssue that it just always feels like the boat is nose down it never really feels like it’s getting any lift reguardless of trim or jack plate height I’ve tried blasters, drag 4, merc clever, even had a promax for a little but it was too much pitch for me to turn I was wondering if anyone had any ideas

Does the boat have a hook? Is the bottom solid?

A is a curve in the back of the running surface, near the transom. If you place a straight edge on the bottom and see a gap in the middle. It's generally bad. A hook will push the bow down.

What year is the hull? Randy "Wildman" has had to correct a few of them. Was the boat purchased from Randy or Dave?

As mentioned in the post above, check for a hook and make sure the running surface is not soft (if balsa core gets wet it will turn to mush, if it takes too many blow cycles, it will turn to powder) and then the only thing holding your running surface true is the outer skin. It will run poorly and its a disaster waiting to happen. A pro et or a drag four are usually the best all around prop from what I have seen.

while boat is on trailer use a floor jack with a 2x4 putsome load dead center on keel about 5-6 ft foward of transom. watch boat as you apply pressure, if hull fex tends to concave [ hook] you got trouble. under power it will increase causing boat to possibly veer. use a string bow to stern several places might find concave pockets. worst case to repair....ART

I will check these suggestions out all though I don’t really think that I have that problem, the boat still runs mid 90s I’m just saying I don’t notice much change in how the boat rides if I trim it up or down if that makes sense I already checked the bottom is completely solid there’s no flex or rot
