Questions aqbout buying 300xs from jacos

Kicking around buying new 300XS 1.62 os from Jaco . Will they sell it to me in crate ? Will they just load it in my truck ?

Not from my exp talking to them. They only let the portable motors walk out the door. Everything else they want to rig.

well that sucks as nobody touches my crap . Anyone know who will sell it to me in a crate ? I think their info on the 300xs OS or is confusing . They mention something about the Fuel pump being located in boat .Was there a change with the 300xs in regards to having a fuel pump in the boat ? Yes aware of trim pump

No fuel pump in boat....Call some dealers and ask is all I can say.

My 2016 250 pro xs came from Jacos. Was gonna have it shipped to a lumber company near me that has a loading dock, then put it on a trailer to take home and install myself. Jacos was find with that and I found them to be very easy to work with. But then I found out that in order for the warranty (+extended) to be good and officially registered it had to be installed by a certified Mercury dealer. So I had it sent to a local dealer (friend) and they installed it, (about $600). This saved me about $3000 over all other quotes. Quite happy!

They may have changed their policy. In late 2017 I inquired about a 175 xs since I was going to Tennessee anyway I could pick it up.. They would not sell out the door the lady on the phone said. Shipped may be different. Call to see. Good prices advertised.

Basic no warranty if not installed by certified Merc tech! Jaco's also offers one day installation if interested!

Better buy it soon, there going to stop making them by june!
Or just wait for the new 300xs four stroke they says it make 330 hp and the same weight

Why didn't your dealer friend hook you up?
