I would follow what you know works. Ties into you knees nicely. The other boat held up to a beating I guess. I indicated to add a short stringer at the keel front to back. Kind of like the backbone of the boat. The bulkhead fwd will stop any twist, along with the floor. The other alternative is to go to a box stringer which would look like this from the end. /```\ I think you would be fine with what you have now. The box just supports the floor better and gives more contact area between the stringers and the floor. Haha gorilla beat me to it...He will get you going in the right direction.

Stringers in a 66 foot sport yacht. The stringers in my red boat were almost the same size. Slightly smaller, but I'm sure there is more glass on the 66 footer. So ya think it'll be strong enough?

Knees glasses in. 2 1708 on each side. 2 1708 tabbing it in.

Stringer soon. It'll end up being 5 inch tall 3 inch wide glass box stringer down the middle. It'll be 4 layers of 1708 all the way around. Bulkhead in front and back of it. With 3 sets of small support bulk heads under the deck 22inches apart for a total of 5 cross wise deck supports.

That will be an easy to build, and glass in place stringer /bulkhead solution . Very strong and will make the boat very stiff. Like I said before, the gorilla knows his stuff.

The deck is 3/4 h80, 1708 on bottom. 1708 with 3/4oz mat on top. Everything from the deck up will be 1208. The sides of the boat will have gussets from where the deck is tabbed in and up under the gunnel tabbed into the cap. There will be 5 sets also, corresponding with the deck supports. So essentially 5 sets of ribs supporting the entire boat. Plus it'll get glassed together at the rubrail on the inside.

Keep with the light colors. In fla any dark colors will burn your feet...A white background with a lt grey spatter to kill the glare and a very light spatter of black or any color really gives a nice effect. I have done many 3 color interiors and I believe it looks better than just 2. jm2cts
