Whats going on with us these days... auto paycheck deposit, auto bill pay, automatic door locks on our cars and trucks, auto headlights, leaving our self protection to others, automatic this and that...

For those of us who run our own lives..we premix..don't need no automatic oiling...I'll do it myself thank you...

Design an app for your cell phone to monitor parameters and adjust ratio to ones liking..

Even better...an app to monitor all engine functions while under way..naw..maybe not.

Doesn't get any easier than this ^^^

To many failure stories on this site alone to not worry about 30+ year old injection systems used on the 2.0 2.4 and 2.5 motors. The first generation oil injection systems is what I am referring to.

I've never filled my boat out of anything but gas cans...It's really painless. Much more painless than rebuilding or replacing a powerhead due to a failure.

If you dont know how to premix buy a 4 stroke. Guess im old school but id prefer to know 100% there is oil going thru my engine because i mixed it myself. I can guarantee i wont be rebuilding my engine due to lack of oil.

I'm thankful for the oiling systems, especially the "oil mixers" used on most carb and efi Mercs, and the VRO's(very reluctant oiling)on the carb OMC's...they have raised my standard of living...Chris
