Beautiful boat, do all the 27s come with an open bow? Does it have a bathroom underneath? Has twin 400s been a thought?

Thank you! No, the most common configuration is closed bow with the two facing love seats and sleeper. This boat does not have a bathroom, one could be built with one but it would be pretty cramped for headroom. This is the first twin outboard Lavey has built, but yes 400's have been a thought.

    Thanks for the compliment!
It's a perfect all around boat and runs even better out in the ocean!

Any more feedback on speeds? To have an 8'6" beam MCOB run a legit 80 is impressive.

So far, the boat runs a solid 80-82mph all day long. Best speed so far is 85 and still testing.
Also, the final weight of the boat came in at 5100lbs, a little higher than planned with all its options.

Here is the screen shot from the video on it's initial runs with 50 gallons of gas and 5 people.
If you look at the two gauges on the top left/right of the Garmin, you can see the engines were still getting 20+ psi of water pressure so there's still room to go higher up and it also needs bigger props.

That is a very nice looking setup, and I’m glad it runs as nice as it looks. I’d be interested to see how this setup CG’s compared to the sterndrive version.

Wonder if the open bow configuration actually aided the CG in this case?
