ASPB is a great guy. Dont hesitate to buy from him. If he said the compression and leak down are good you can take it to the bank. If i didn't get my 300 super mag i would deffenently buy this motor from him. It runs within 1-2mph of my 300 pm and 300xs on the same boat.

Thanks bud, had a guy that was supposed to show up to look at it yesterday. Said he had cash. Guess he lost his cash or got lost cause he didn't show or call. lol Guess that what we go through when selling something.

i have a 2004 225x promax 500 hours on my bassboat and i need more torque cause its on a 22 foot champion dc

Didn`t say it was a bad thing. 500hrs on any outboard without some sort of melt down is impressive.

right gotcha
i dont know all the history on this engine it was on my boat when i bought it 1.5 years ago
i know its had some things done to it just dont know internally
my boat mechanic said all the comp were good and other than the oil pump being bypassed (not my doing)it runs great
i have to mix
but i was going to put it back to oil pump this fall
