DONT see any reason why the wmart lith batt wouldnt work. i dont have electronis ,stereo + my motor always starts easily. if u have to crank &crank it my not suite your rig. i bought it strictly for the weight saving, having a small boat 30-35lbs is significant amt. im at the min recc CCA for a 2.4. according to merc. i think it has a 30 day return deal. mine is 460 or maybe 480 35ah delran bat tender.
