275 verado loses RPM
Im working with a pair of 2005 verado 275s. They were just serviced in Dec. I got one that runs fine the other runs perfect when it wants too lol.
The problem I am having is I can get up to speed and be around 6k RPM's even less when just cruising. All a sudden my speed and RMP will slowly start to drop. Throttle in the same spot just my one motor will slowly start to lose RPM. I can close the throttles then right back to WOT and it will pick back up and return to 6k or what not. Sometimes thats it. Other times it will do it again in a few mins. Any idea what could be causing this?
New fuel filters, water sep, injectors were flow benched, new plugs in dec coils last summer.
Things driving me nuts here.

It probably has a sticking float switch in the fuel management tank. There was a service bulletin about it around 2006.

That would cause just one of the two motors to do this not both?

Yes it's in the fsm on the back of each motor.
