    300 pm ecu

I'm finishing up my 225 3.0l build and have run into a slight issue, I'm only turning 5800 rpm.

Can anyone tell me what the rev limiter on this ECU is? I was under the assumption that it was a 6200-6400 rpm limit.

Could anyone mention the part # for the 6200-6400 rpm limited ECU?

Both ECMS have to have raised limiters. If you try to use a 300PM ignition and a 225 Fuel ECM, it will flood the motor with fuel. Either use a 250XB or have a 225 fuel ECM programmed.

Yeah, I have a 250XB Fuel ecu, and this ignition ecu is off a 300 PM EFI, but no matter what prop I throw on the thing it will not turn more than 5800 RPM.

P172270602 ,and it doesn't say 300 MHP ..it Says 300 Pro Max Ign. I snapped a pic on my phone,,if you give me your phone #,I will gladly text you a pic of the label. this was removed from a 98 300PM that popped #2 piston. I have the rest of the motor still here.

early 300 promax motors had a 5800 or 5900 limiter...i remember one of mine would hit a wall at 5800ish so i just kept throwin bigger wheels at it until it stopped hitting the limiter....i have a raised limiter on my 300pm thats on my kryptonite but i dont remember how high we raised it...

Yeah my issue is I have a 28p prop on there now, still on the limiter and my hole shot is garbage.
